Bread

Naturally leavened loaves from a starter we have fed every day since 2009, plus the morning baguettes.

Country Sourdough $9.50
Our everyday loaf: a dark, blistered crust and an open, glossy crumb with a gentle tang.

Seeded Rye $10
Dense, moist and full of sunflower, flax and sesame — the loaf for smoked fish and sharp cheese.

Milk Bread $8
A soft, tall tin loaf for toast and sandwiches, made with a cooked flour paste so it stays soft for days.

8 am loaf, 700 g Wheat Milk Egg
Morning Baguette $4
Crackling crust, creamy crumb, baked three times a day so one is always warm.

6:45 am · 10:30 am · 1:30 pm each, 300 g Vegan Wheat

Laminated by hand the afternoon before, proved overnight and baked in the first hours of the morning.

Twenty-seven layers of cultured butter, a shattering outside and a honeycomb inside.
